Everyone has a story to tell, and this is mine.
My name is Craig Mattox. I created this blog based on some obstacles that I’ve faced over the course of my life, more recently 2012. I was diagnosed with a heart murmur in February of 2012 and in March I was diagnosed with leukemia and lupus. Having to sit out from college sports for a year while I recovered, I took time to evaluate my life and its value. I was fortunate to be blessed with a second chance and took full advantage of it. I continued my track and field career and finished a 7x All-American in long jump. My lupus has calmed tremendously and I am currently living my life cancer free.
